Come join the International Socialist Organization as we host a public discussion about the revolutionary movements globally and how activists locally are setting the groundwork for movements here at home. Revolution is in the air - the epic revolutions spreading throughout North Africa and the Middle East have shown that masses of ordinary people can take control over their own lives. And the heroic struggle of Wisconsin workers to defend their unions have inspired people across the country to fight for their own rights. We need an alternative to the current system of austerity, war, and profiteering - an alternative based on the interests of working people instead of Wall Street. Activist, Eric Ruder will be coming out from Chicago, IL to give a presentation followed by a public discussion where we can draw the important points from struggles internationally and apply them to our regular discussions, actions, and organizing. Check out socialistworker.org for more information on the International Socialist Organization.
